We'reeeeeeeeee BACK!!

Sorry it has taken us so long to blog (4 months actually)!! Everything in Aspen has been amazing and so much fun, hence the reason we haven't been sitting around blogging! We have been skiing, cross countrying, meeting a ton of new friends and working our butts off throughout the entire season! Ski season is finally coming to end and we cannot believe how fast it has flown by. We have already been living here almost 7 months and it has seemed like a week! I hope everyone else has been having a fab spring and I swear we will continue to blog on a more regular basis. Here are some pics of what we have been doing since Christmas (pics in no order whatsoever):

Christmas Decor!

Kelly Ann and I are in full Christmas spirit. We have our stocking hung by the chimney with care!! We also have our tree all decorated and with bunches of presents ready to be open! Unfortunately, because of an over watering situation...our tree has taken a turn for the worse! We are hoping he holds on for a few more days!!
We hope all of you are having a fabulous Christmas holiday and are in the spirit! I also hope that you have been good this year and Santa is going to come visit you!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Dear Loyal and Faithful readers,

I am so sorry it has taken is almost a month to blog again! Cece's haircut was so exciting, we haven't had time for it. I thought I would give everyone a quick update into the Ralph Lauren/Wild Fig celebrity world. Aka, Wild Fig is Cece and I's new place of employment. Lets start with today. From 1p.m. today until 8p.m., I saw:

Kate Hudson
with:

The Body aka Elle Macpherson

Heidi and Seal (child-less)

AND: Last but certainly not least:

The One and Only Mariah Carey (Nick Cannon in tow)

It was so much fun helping everyone out. I have to say, out of everyone, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were the nicest and most fun to work with. She was very pleasant and normal acting despite all of the diva rumors. She did have a full on entourage though and we shut down the store a little early for her, but other than that, totally worth it. Kate Hudson was also a doll as well as Seal, Heidi might have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning though!

Also spotted in the past couple of days, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas, A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez), Zac Efron, which I have pic of but cannot figure out how to post from my cell, William H. Macy, and Charlie Sheen.

I hope everyone is having a happy and safe holidays! I wish I could be home more than anything, but I would love for anyone and everyone to come visit! Talk to you soon and please share any exciting holiday stories as well! I promise we will be better bloggers in the days to come! Love you! xoxox

New Do!

After five years of long (maybe too long...according to my mother) hair, I finally took the leap and chopped it all off! It was 13+ inches!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE I CUT OFF MY SECURITY BLANKET! But I love it and feel like a new person! Here is the before, after, and the remains for Locks of Love!

Dear Erin and Cece,

Thank you so much for: all the hysterical laughes (my abs (what abs?) are still sore), the funny facebooking incidents, falling, awkwardness, ramp building, match making, drinking, cooking (late night anyone?), movie watching, picture taking, and did I mention laughing??? It was by far the funniest Thanksgiving break (what break?) that I have ever had! Love you both!!!
I am also thankful and so lucky to have all my amazing friends and family! I hope everyone enjoyed an equally fabulous Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Fiesta

Thanksgiving was such a great time with Erin here!!! We had our own feast(esta) at our home sweet home! Cece made broccoli cheese casserole and potato salad, I made a brie bundle, green bean bundles, and breakfast casserole, and our friend Livy brought a turkey and stuffing. We built our first fire and watched the Cowboys win!! We were supposed to go to an afterparty and were too full to make it. We were all in bed around 11 pm! It was great fun for all. Here are some pics.

Guest Blog by Erin Hicks

I arrived Tuesday afternoon into Aspen and we went to Happy Hour for drinks and great catching up time. We also had some classic prank call action. We ended up getting a ride home in the freezing cold by the Hotel Jerome Shuttle...what a nice driver!
On Wednesday, Kelly Ann and Cece worked and I did some shopping in town and had lunch at my new favorite place, Jour De Fete. We went out that night and saw a DJ at Belly Up...it was SOOOOO FUN!!
Turkey Day was a great time with great people and great food. We of course ate too much and ended up in I ended up in turkey coma.
On Friday I did some hiking, met Cece for a walk with the kids, met Kelly Ann for lunch at the Big Wrap, and watched a great lifetime movie. We went out for drinks that night and appetizers at The J Bar...loooove the locals discount. We then went to Bad Billy's and met some intresting characters.
On Saturday...my last day...tear! Cece and I went in town and saw Kelly Ann busy at work, then all three of us had a great lunch, and then back to Texas I went.

I had an absolutely fantastic time and I can NOT wait to come back...the sooner the better!!!
