Cece is now famous and has officially met her DREAM man: Jeffery Lewis (pictured above) and his Creeping Brains!!! We decided to go to Belly Up for the Dr. Dog concert to make friends and see the show, but didn't realize that in the process we would fall upon Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard Bank. I had listened to Dr. Dog, but had never had much interest, but thought it would be a fun show to see. Not knowing what Dr. Dog would even look like, I mistook Dr. Dog for the opening act JL. After three cartoon/animated overhead shows, I realized this was not the band I was looking for, just the opening act. Jeffrey Lewis and his Creeping Brains have a political/freak show side to them that they like to advertise during their acts. Weird, but worth seeing for the laughs. Dr. Dog was amazing and especially because the show was not super packed, it felt like our own private concert. Hopefully, we will see more shows there in the future.
