On Thursday, Perry and I took Caileag and hiked up to Maroon Bells, one of the more well known scenic hikes in Aspen. It was a cool crisp day and totally worth dragging Caileag with us. It had recently rained and was pretty muddy, but the three of us had a blast. There were a bunch of people admiring the "Bells" as well, and Dad I totally regret us not driving up there. You would have loved it. To get there, you must drive by a pay station and I was fully ready to pay the $10 fee, but, upon further inspection, realized it was free for the remainder of fall.
Perry also got to experience Caileag's wrath and took the responsibility of tying himself into the waist leash.
Fortunately, Cece has a job, unfortunately, she did not get to go hiking with us. I said we would for sure be back there before full on winter hits!

I had a wonderful day with Ann Marie and Michael sitting by the lake and at the base of the Bells and picnicking. So glad you went up there! Congrats to Cece for the job!
