Waking up to our first gorgeous day in Aspen, Cece and I decide to go on a walk to explore with Caileag. Little did we know, she's insane. Once we get her on the leash and out the door onto the Rio Grande Path, we realize that Caileag is actually going to walk us. As she struggles against the leash, I decide to jog for a second to hopefully calm her down. Nothing works. We finally let her off and she decides to take us on the "nature trail". Sounds nice, but its not. I can't decide which is worse: having her off the lease and having to scream her name every 5 seconds to get her to come back or having her on the leash dragging me over rocks and a narrow cliff alongside the river at an alarming speed.
She finally leads us back to our original trail and we make our way home. Cece and I are both completely wiped out by now, after realizing we had been gone 2.5 hours "walking" with the Caileag.
